Durham Eco-Fest (2011)

Both the Durham Local Food Network and the Durham Fruit Group will be having a stall at…

The St John’s Neville’s Cross, Durham EcoFestival – Sunday June 19th.
The Fruit Group will be showing plans for the new fruit tree nursery (to be at St Johns) and the Local Food Network will be launching the website to members of the public (we even have a banner, postcards and hope to be in the media this week).

From the festival organisers…

Please let everyone in your networks and friendship groups, including schools you may be involved with, know that this is the place to be on June 19th!  You can see the poster (front and back) here: http://www.sjnx.org.uk/downloads/webflier11.pdf. We hope that this link will make it very easy for you to pass on as widely as possible.

The festival is from 11 am – 5 pm and we hope that all stalls will be ready for action by 11.  Regulars will know that most of the festival takes place in the grounds in front of, around and behind the church.  There is a full programme of music, some drama, children’s activities and of course various kinds of food and drink throughout the day and we hope that you will all have a really enjoyable as well as useful time….
